 . "Gourds are a fun challenge. After the growing process, they are
dried and scrubbed clean. Gourds come in a wide range of sizes and shapes.
Gourds can be stained, painted, burned, and carved. I work with a variety of paints, stains, enamels, beads, and natural items found around my home. Gourds have their own personality, they speak to me while I am holding them. I love the feeling and connection with nature that develop while working on each one. For me, the passion of life and the gift of giving is embodied in each
